This event is mainly targeting students and recent LBS alums interested in career in finance in general, both buy-side and sell-side, and in particular those of you with an interest in the energy sector but not necessarily.

David Kotler is canadian and started his career in the mid 80s in banking in North America. He joined Lazard straight after earning his MBA at LBS in 1989 and spent almost his entire career of investment banker at Lazard, heading the Oil & Gas practice. He then joined Morgan Stanley and also led the energy practice before moving into a CEO role at Delta international, a Saudi Arabia-based group.

David will be here to provide to the LBS community an unbiased view of the finance sector, in particular investment banking, highlighting the key trends impacting the industry in general and how to factor those in your own career "business plan". In particular, he will articulate his talk around five main themes: globalisation, capital accumulation, specialisation, corporate culture and regulation.

This event will represent an amazing opportunity to hear career advices from a very well reputed and seasoned finance professional, providing also a global and historic perspective.
