Nick was appointed to this role in August 2016. He holds global accountability for developing new renewables businesses and supporting the growth of BP’s existing wind and biofuels businesses. As part of this role, Nick also leads the development of Alternative Energy’s strategy and has played a significant role supporting BP’s overall strategy.
Nick joined BP in 1999 and has held a broad range of senior technical and commercial leadership roles across BP’s businesses and corporate functions, including VP Group Competitor Intelligence and Investor Relations.
Nick will speak to us about BP's view on and path to energy transition, the challenges facing BP in the near future. He will also share some reflections about his career to date.
The presentation will be followed by informal networking with Nick over drinks and nibbles.
