Founded in 2015 as a customer-centric disruptor in the UK energy retail industry, Octopus Energy has grown into the UK’s largest supplier of domestic electricity and gas. Over the past decade, Octopus has grown its tentacles into a range of business units including electric vehicles, renewable energy investment, heating appliances, and its recent spinout Kraken. Octopus Energy recently became the youngest company to win Britain’s Most Admired Company Award, and has been consistently recognized as a top place to work in the UK. Join us on Tuesday, April 21st for a fireside chat with Tim Heal, Octopus Energy’s Chief Strategy Officer, for a wide-ranging discussion covering Octopus’ role in fighting climate change and accelerating the energy transition, the company’s people-oriented culture and customer service, and how they moved from disruptive to dominant in just one decade.
