In an era of market instability, is bigger always better? In this session, Ryen provides an insider’s perspective on the 'David versus Goliath' dynamic, exploring how independent refiners are outmanoeuvring large conglomerates. Ryen will dissect the 'Independent Advantage' - from unique financing structures to bespoke operational models and specific trading activities.

Ryen Dwivedy (EMBA 26) is currently the Head of Analytics at Klesch, a private equity that specializes in M&A and running independent refineries. Ryen brings a wealth of experience from the multinational organization generating over $7 billion in revenue. Ryen’s background spans the full spectrum of the industry, from engineering to management consulting and now finance and analytics at Klesch.

This session is hosted jointly by the LBS Energy & Environment, Infrastructure & Construction, and PE/VC Clubs.
