The Bootcamp Kickoff Event Agenda:
- Introductory Remarks by the CTC Committee
- A speaker panel featuring panelists from CleanTech startups
- Introduction of Challenge Question by Jeff Skinner (Executive Director of the LBS Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship). Teams will only have 24 hours to answer the question with the support of mentors from industry and will present their responses at the final event on Apr 23
- Stage 3 finalist teams will present their ideas
About the CleanTech Challenge
Started by UCL & LBS in 2009, this yearly competition brings together science and business to develop innovative CleanTech solutions.
Winners from previous years include:
- Phabio: Manufacturing biobased polymer to replace conventional plastics like HDPE/PP
- Biokind: Protein of the Future Fish feed with reduced land and water usage and lower CO2 impact
- ThinAir: Low cost biomembrane to generate clean water from air
- Nature: Technology that transforms an old through-wall AC unit into a smart one
