About Rod Lockhart:

Rod Lockhart is the Chief Executive Officer of LendInvest Plc, and leads a business at the forefront of disrupting the UK’s property finance market. Since becoming CEO in January 2020, Rod has driven LendInvest’s transformation into an asset-management-focused business, growing Assets Under Management from £1 billion to over £3.4 billion. Under his leadership, Funds Under Management have also increased to £5.4 billion, supporting sustainable investor returns and recurring revenue.

Rod joined LendInvest in 2015 to lead its Capital Markets and Fund Management division. He was instrumental in launching its retail bond and RMBS programmes and later steered the company through its 2021 IPO on the London Stock Exchange.

A Chartered Surveyor with 20+ experience in property finance, Rod previously held senior roles at CBRE Capital Advisors, advising institutional clients and managing complex property portfolios. Passionate about tech innovation in property finance, Rod regularly advocates for the sector globally and is a regular on the conference circuit.
