About:
Daniel currently leads the European business of Remitly, a fast-expanding fintech which just raised a Series D round of $115M and is rapidly disrupting a $500B+ a year money transfer industry. In All, Daniel has over 8 years of experience in the financial services industry in roles focused on investment strategy, business development and expansion. Prior to Remitly, Daniel was a venture capitalist and made strategic investments in fintech and E-Commerce startups at American Express Ventures. Before that, he was on the corporate development team at Tencent investing in consumer Internet companies.
