Fundraising to start or grow a business is typically a time-consuming, frustrating and costly exercise that can be an unwelcome distraction from the day-to-day running of the business. Get the inside track on how to get investment ready to maximise your chance of getting funding as early as possible.

Come to this interactive session to learn what investment readiness means. What makes an appropriate investor? What can you do to become investment-ready?

The session will be presented by Adjunct Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship Keith Willey, who runs Enterprise 100, the School’s angel network.

Keith Willey undertakes Executive Development work at a number of companies including Bertelsmann, EDS, Ernst & Young, Mars Inc, Ericsson and the Young President's Organisation. Along with Deloitte UK, he developed the Annual Entrepreneurship UK Survey and Report.

He is an investor in a number of ventures alongside other angels and venture capitalists – mainly technology-based – in the US, Europe and India.

This talk is part of the Entrepreneur's Journey series by the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at London Business School.

The Entrepreneur's Journey programme is uniquely packaged to take would-be entrepreneurs through every stage of deciding whether to pursue an entrepreneurial career path, through to implementation of their aspirations and subsequently taking their business to the next level.

From exploring entrepreneurship to creating and thereafter growing your business, the series is structured in a sequential order that is a perfect complement to your studies, providing a practical and informative workshop, speaker and panel sessions that enable you to pick and choose which events are right for you.
