In a world where technology is being used for everyday communication, it is all too easy to misinterpret some of the techy terms floating around web and product design. Now more than ever, founders and marketers need to be familiar with this vocabulary so to be able to communicate better with their IT, web design, or product development departments.
To help bridge the gap, this event is for those looking to start a business with no/limited product or technical experience, breaking them down into a plain English description to provide a better understanding of development processes and concepts, reduce errors and improved planning and prioritisation.

Tristan is a product director with experience leading international teams. Working in both operations and product management, he has crafted digital solutions for organisations of various sizes -- from Pre-Seed to Series D.
He was an early employee (#3) at Goodlord, a fast-growing startup that digitises the rental process. While there, Tristan helped scale the organisation to a workforce of 150 and spearheaded 3 product launches. Prior to Goodlord, he held roles in both finance and media (Royal Bank of Canada, CTV).

He specialises in early-stage product development; scaling of SaaS departments; competitive analysis; and go-to-market strategies. He graduated with an MBA from Imperial College, and currently works as a product director for Q4, a fintech scaleup focused on investor relations.
