Charles Nasser founded Claranet in 1996 and has grown it into one of Europe’s leading privately owned IT managed services providers. Charles remains the majority shareholder today. The portfolio of services focuses on all aspects of Cloud platforms, Workplace, data and AI services as well as a broad range of cybersecurity. Claranet operates across Western Europe (UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal) as well as having a significant operation in Brazil, operations in India (Hyderabad) and a small presence in the USA. The business has over 10,000 business customers and 3,000 staff and annualised revenues of over €600 million and EBITDA of €100m. This follows a strong period of organic growth as well as a range of acquisitions to broaden capability and expertise.

Charles holds a Masters degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Imperial College (University of London), a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance (ACCA) and a Masters in Finance from London Business School. A keen traveller, Charles has visited over 100 countries and participated in several expeditions, including a trek to the geographic North Pole.
