Fireside Chat with Gousto CTO and AND Digital

The Entrepreneurship Club is delighted to announce Gousto and AND Digital as guests for the first speaker event of 2020! The CEO and CTO of Gousto and a Club Exec from AND Digital will be in attendance for this panel event. We will be discussing the journey of both companies, successes and challenges, the evolution of the food tech space, the critical challenges that firms are facing in the tech era, recruitment from LBS and more!

A little more about the companies
Gousto is a British meal kit company founded by Timo Boldt and James Carter in June 2012. Since its appearance on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den, the company has gone from strength to strength. Its annual sales are now exceeding £100m. It has also been voted as the best meal kit provider by the Independent, Guardian, Timeout and more.

AND Digital is a fast-growing digital consultancy focused on enhancing the digital capabilities of clients through its unique guide, build and teach methodology. It has worked with a range of high-profile clients including Vitality Health, New Look, Asos and Diagio.

A little more about the speakers
Timo Boldt: Timo is the founder and CEO of Gousto. Growing increasingly frustrated with the fresh meal options for working professionals, Timo quit his job as a finance professional in 2012 to start Gousto.

Shaun Pearce: Shaun is the CTO of Gousto. Having spent time at Accenture and Amazon, Shaun joined Gousto as a VP in Engineering in 2015, before taking on his current role as CTO in 2016.

Nigel Flack: Nigel is a Club Exec at AND Digital and is currently on the EMBA programme at LBS. Nigel has over 25 years of experience in the digital/systems space with clients including Barclays, BMW, ITV and Sony Ericsson.
