Details

Paul Setlakwe began his career as a tax lawyer at Stikeman Elliott, eventually specializing in complex planning and problem-solving for multi-national families. He transitioned from law to establish two family offices, serving as Chief Investment Officer of the second and CFO of the associated operating company. Alongside his executive career, Paul spent over a decade teaching International Tax at McGill University.
Paul will join us to share his insights into the family office landscape. The session will begin with a 10 to 15-minute overview of his career and his work within family offices, followed by an open discussion. The session will be moderated by LBS professor Rupert Merson. This is an interactive forum for students to share their own experiences, ask questions, and discuss challenges within the sector.
