Business Networking Training -

Are you a natural networker? Is sending a LinkedIn invite networking? How to deliver an elevator pitch? how to become a dealmaker? You just don’t have time to network? What are the common bad networking habits? These are some of the questions that will be addressed at this presentation.

Networking has been an important tool that Jose Lourenco has applied with enthusiasm over the years throughout his personal life and professional career. Networking has been worthwhile for a number of reasons, namely (1) Build a brand and reputation whilst providing a competitive edge, (2) Get prospects; (3) Make contacts; (4) Build relationships; (5) Advance career, (6) Conduct more business, (7) Land jobs.

Jose Lourenco is an Executive Director responsible for the Fixed Income business to Portugal at Nomura in London. Amongst other achievements, Jose led the efforts in positioning Nomura as the #1 Primary Dealer in Portuguese debt as per the Portuguese Treasury’s overall ranking (amongst 21 Dealers). Prior to joining Nomura in 2009 as an Emerging Markets Fixed Income Salesperson, Jose was at Fitch Ratings in London where he held the role of Associate Director in the Company’s Structured Finance division. Jose started his career as an Equity Sales Trader at Banco de Investimento Global in Lisbon.
