The 2016-17 Business & Government Club Kick-off

Am I a consumer or a citizen first? What is the role of business in addressing public policy problems? Are CIVETS the new BRICs, or is it N-11? What next for the Eurozone? Should I be concerned about political risk and regulations for my business? What is the future of government and public service delivery? Can I build a career in the public sector, development or international relations? How can I contribute to and capitalise on the coming new climate economy?

At the B&G club we believe that questions like these are both interesting and important for our members. Not only as b-school students and alumni, but also as individuals and future leaders in society.

For the B&G Club, 2015-16 was an exciting return after a period of relative quiet. We hosted a number of events (and an EU trek) and are now looking to build upon this to make 2016-17 our greatest year yet! But for this happen we need your help. Both by considering joining our executive committee and/or by simply sharing ideas and contributing as active members and participants.

For 2016-17 it all starts next Wednesday from 18.45 at our kick-off in the Park Restaurant Suite 1. And the best part is we’re bringing the drinks to celebrate! So come and enjoy some free beer and wine, hear our plans and find out how you can get involved!
