Wondering how to start a healthtech company and what investors looking for? Join Dr. Barbara Domayne-Hayman (Entrepreneur-in-residence at Francis Crick Institute) and Dr. Oliver Harding (Founder of Puridify) in a discussion about "The Start-up Journey: From Idea to Exit" and hear our 6 finalist teams pitch their ideas to compete for the £10,000 Dhruv Batra prize!
Attendees will also get a chance to vote for the People’s Choice Award and all finalist teams will receive free access to Innovation Forum’s workshops and events!
Finalist Teams (and what they are tackling!)
1. Gutlab – understanding how our gut microbiome affects our health
2. Microspray – cost-effective manufacturing of microparticles
3. MindWanderer – screening for Schizophrenia
4. MSMC – early detection of changes in health
5. OncoID – patient-specific tools to treat liver cancer
6. FoodKim – detection of food allergens
Following the discussion and the team’s pitches, we’ll cap off the evening with drinks and networking!
