Healthcare Switzerland Trek

1. Event details:

• Date: Wednesday Feb 22nd – Friday Feb 24th 2016
  • Mandatory arrival by Wednesday Feb 22^nd morning
  • All corporate sessions mandatory
• Arrival Location: Geneva, Switzerland
• Departure Location: Basel, Switzerland
• Confirmed Partners: Roche

2. Roche Summit Details (Friday Feb 24th):

• 10am Welcome + introduction to Roche, Cris Wilbur - HRO
• 10:30am Key Note Alan Hippe, CFO
• 11:30am Panel Discussion: digitization of the market
• 12:15 Lunch + Networking
• 13:00 Business Case per school (no prep beforehand is needed) + presentation to senior manager

This event gives students a unique opportunity to meet Roche's top managers, learn about interesting market developments and have the opportunity to present a business case to senior managers. There is no preparation required for the business case as this will all be organized on site.

3. Logistics/Costs:

• Hotel: We will handle the hotel bookings the total hotel cost to be £100 to £225 (excluding meals) depending on the room setup (sharing or single).
• Transport: 
  • Flights: You will have to book your own flights for arrival by Wednesday 22nd February 2017. Current roundtrip tickets range from £60 to £150.
  • Inter Swiss Transport: We will be booking a train from Geneva to Basel. Estimated cost is £50 to £80.
  • Transit inside cities: please budget £10 to £20 for transit within the cities.
• Social events: These will be planned for Wednesday and Thursday evenings, none are mandatory (details to be confirmed closer to time)

We are expecting a high number of applications. In order to make the process fully transparent, we would like to inform you of the following:

• Both deadline and word count will be strictly enforced to ensure fairness
• All essays will be judged by at least 2 Executive Committee Members
• Personal fields such as name, email, etc. will be hidden from the Committee Members during the decision making process
