With all the tragedies that are constantly portrayed in the media; and stress, mental illness and cyber-bullying being at an all-time high, we felt it was an ideal time to create Complimentary Kindness to connect people and communities in a kind, uplifting and positive way.
www.complimentarykindness.com is a public platform for people to give and receive compliments and our events are held in public spaces, work environments, Schools and Universities. There is a stand with a microphone for giving compliments and a stand with headphones for receiving them. The compliments are projected out of a speaker so that others are also able to hear them and can be written out on our Compliment slips beforehand and given to the recipient afterwards as a keepsake. We also have compliment boards available so that people can capture their thoughts or leave compliments.
At Complimentary Kindness, we believe that kindness really is contagious, and has the power to alter moods, shift perceptions and aid well being. So come along and join us as part of the LBS Mental Health week activities on Thursday May 16th from 1.30pm-5.00pm and give a compliment to a friend, student colleague, faculty member, or someone that has been supportive in times of need.
Give someone the gift of a compliment and make their day!
