Dear LBS Community,
We believe in creating safe spaces for everyone where we can thrive and feel supported. That's why we want to remind you about our Safe Reporting Tool (information one-pager attached), a valuable resource for reporting misconduct in our community (be it on campus, at LBS events, on treks or Global Experiences). 🗣️
How can I report misconduct?
To report any instances of suspected or alleged misconduct, visit safecall.co.uk/report or call 0800 9751 577.
If you don't wish to use the Safe Reporting Tool, consider using our existing internal processes and policies to address any concerns. Your first point of contact - whether it's the Programme Office for students, Subject Area Chair for faculty members, Line Manager for staff, or for any other relevant team - can provide guidance and support. If you have any questions on what your approach should be, reach out to your Student Advocacy Officer, Hitakshi (she/her).
Who can report?
The Safe Reporting Tool (run by Safecall) is available to all members of the LBS community. Whether you're a student, faculty member, staff, or part of our extended community, we encourage you to use this tool to report any incident.
You can choose your desired level of anonymity when submitting your report. You can select from the following options:
- Named: Your identity will be known to both the LBS teams in charge and Safecall and will be kept confidential
- Semi-anonymous: Your identity will only be known to Safecall. Safecall may contact you for further information
- Anonymous: Your identity will be unknown to both LBS and Safecall (needs additional intervention from you to continuously check the Safe Reporting portal for updates)
What is Safe Reporting Hub?
Our Safe Reporting Hub is available 24/7, 365 days a year. It provides a confidential platform for reporting any issues. To ensure your report can be addressed appropriately, please provide as much detailed information as possible, including background, history, reasons, names, dates, places, and supporting documents.
After submitting your report, please save your unique login credentials to track the progress of your report on the website, especially if you have chosen to remain anonymous. As next steps, your report will be shared with the Dean's Office, and you can expect a response within 2 working days; the Dean's Office team might request additional information if needed. If you have submitted an anonymous report, please keep logging in to the portal to check if additional information has been asked for. Please note that a report can only be followed up if it contains sufficient information and there is a reasonable possibility of obtaining further information.
Have more questions? Please get in touch with Hitakshi, Tracy or Armin.
Best,
Your SA Advocacy Team
