This Summer Term will see 11 LBS Student-led Conferences taking place in the space of 4 weeks. Whilst this is a testament to our engaged and dynamic culture, it also presents certain issues worth considering as a collective.
As a Club President or Co-Chair of one of these events, you are invited to an open forum to discuss how we can all work together to ensure each conference is presented in the best possible light and that we maintain a high standard across the board. We would love to hear your ideas on how each upcoming event can be promoted clearly and effectively.
Key Questions to consider for this session:
• Who is your target audience and what is the most effective way to reach them?
• How do you get the message about your event out there without spamming LBS students and the wider LBS Community?
• If you are still finalising speakers and sponsors, how could a collaborative approach aid your efforts?
• Are there any opportunities to share resources and best practice?
• What is the unique selling point of your event? What does success look like? What are you hoping to achieve?
