Ian Armstrong is a passionate and trained Marketing/Sales expert with over 14 years experience in fast moving commercial environments including 8 years in Marketing soft drinks and over 5 years in automotive Marketing.

Exploring the ‘new’ to deliver exceptional commercial results whilst staying focused on the developed strategy, he is used to managing No.1 or 2 position brands in their category up to £1.6bn turnover across multiple routes to market in multi-franchise environments. Ian has been successively appointed to high profile roles delivering outstanding results, such as lately tailoring a new global marketing campaign incurring the biggest change in Jaguar’s marketing strategy since 2008. Finally, he was the Winner of Campaign’s Battle of the Biggest Client Brains, in November 2008. 

Prior working for Jaguar Land Rover, Ian was a Brand Group Manager at Britvic Soft Drinks before joining Honda as Manager of Customer Communications, Manager of European Communications and finally Head of European Marketing. Recruited by Honda in 2003, he was in charge of its popular ‘Impossible dream’ campaign in 2005, and its live ‘Skydive’ TV ad in 2008.

The presentation will be followed by a drink reception in the Park reception.
