LBS Board Associate Programme - Rimbaud and Verlaine Foundation

The Foundation intends to create a fabulous European-style ‘poetry house’ in Kings Cross and has also set itself the wider objective of promoting Anglo-French cultural exchange, including live events, artists’ residencies and educational programmes aimed at giving opportunities to young people in both France and the UK Possible projects whilst on the board:

·         creating a charitable bond - the potential for leveraging the beneficial interest in No 8 Royal College Street into a Bond capable of perfecting the legacy gift of the house on the death of the current owner. If willing the successful student could work on this with Geoff Burnand at Social Investment Business

·         financial management in EU context - the creation of detailed long term financial projections in a form compatible with EU funding requirements and recommendations for the staff and infrastructure required to deliver on work worth over Euros 4 Million between 2016-2020 in accordance with the strict requirements of such grants
