Have a great DSLR camera, but still stuck on Auto?
If you have a DSLR and you’re still stuck on Auto, this is the session for you! We’ll be covering how to shoot using all those other settings, which includes playing around with shutter speed, ISO and aperture.
When: Wednesday, May 4th, 18:30-20:30
Where: LBS Campus, Laing House, Room 102 (LH102)
Who: LBS students, staff, partners and alumni all welcome
RSVP: Please register via our Campus Group event
What to bring
Please bring your SLR camera, as we will be showing you how to use them. We know it's late and this is intended to be a pretty casual session, so feel free to bring food and drink.
Your instructors
The session will be led by Alexa Sharples, Carlos Morales and Alex Valdes, who use Canon, Olympus and Nikon cameras respectively (so hopefully you're all sorted!)
What we won't cover
There will be another 'Take Better Pictures' session that will cover composition (and so is open to anyone with an interest in photography, with or without an DSLR camera). This will be taking place in the evening on Monday, May 9th.
The 2016 LBS Photo Competition
There are three categories - Campus Life, London Experience, World View - with Overall and Runner-Up prizes for each category. The deadline is midnight on Sunday, May 15th 2016. The competition is open to students, staff, alumni and partners. Visit www.lbsphotoclub.com for more information on how to submit.
