WSP LBO Session Registration Clarification
Hello,
If you've received this email you have registered on CampusGroups for the Wall Street Prep LBO session this weekend. We have had numerous questions regarding registration for this workshop and wanted to provide some clarifaction. PLEASE READ THIS EMAIL THOROUGHLY.
Official Registration
When you registered for this event via CampusGroups, CampusGroups then redirected you to WSP's website where you were meant to register with them directly and pay $60. If you have neither registered with WSP nor paid $60 then you have not officially registered for this session. Officialy registration and attendance is managed by WSP, not the PE/VC Club.
We have received the official registration list from WSP and will be removing people from the CampusGroup's event who have not registered. By doing this, we hope to eliminate any doubt regarding who has registered and who has not. If you find that you are not registered, please follow this link to join the waitlist.
Registration Cancellation
Separately, you must communicate with WSP directly if you are no longer be able to attend by emailing Matthew Blair at mblair@wallstreetprep.com. There are students on the waitlist who would like to attend and taking a place but not attending limits their access to a valuable learning opportunity. Therefore, anyone who is registered but does not attend will face difficulties in signing up for similar events in the future. If you've "sold" your place to a fellow student, please be aware that this is not valid unless confirmed with WSP directly.
If you cannot attend in person and need to cancel, please be aware that you will not be able to access the associated materials on WSP's online platform as this comes with the session. We are investigating ways to get LBS students discounted access to the entire WSP online platform and hope to be able to announce something soon.
Attendance
In order to foster the most interactive and beneficial classroom environment, this session will take place in person on the Sussex campus (exact location to be provided when CampusGroups registration is finalized). If you're unable to attend in person, please inform WSP that you won't be able to make it and they will fill your place with someone on the waitlist. Apologies to those who have registered but are not in London. This decision is meant to avoid the situation where people who are able to attend in person but choose to attend via Zoom (likely with their cameras off) and therefore negatively impact the classroom experience. We are discussing future LBO sessions delivered via Zoom.
