The LBS PE/VC Club is excited to announce an exclusive, fully virtual PE recruiting and interview prep workshop with Break Into PE ("BIPE"), aimed at all programs (Masters, MBA, etc.)! Headed by a team of experts with direct investing experience from leading PE funds (Hg, Lone Star, Hellman & Friedman), BIPE is the leading PE recruiting site in Europe and has helped place candidates across the likes of Blackstone, KKR, and Carlyle.
Please join us on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 10am UK time on Zoom for a 2-hour+ comprehensive workshop covering all critical topics around breaking into private equity, and specifically preparation for interview processes. Subjects covered will include both a) an introduction to the PE market in Europe, as well as b) the 4 key pillars of landing a role in PE: 1) Motivation & Story, 2) Technical Knowledge, 3) Commercial Acumen, and 4) the Investment Framework. There will also be time for Q&A throughout the session, and the workshop will be personally led by LBS alumnus Stefan Florea, Co-Founder of BIPE (formerly at Hg & Morgan Stanley), and Gianluigi Bracci, Head of Coaching at BIPE (formerly at CDP, Lone Star & Morgan Stanley), who will also share some of their own experiences both in tackling recruiting processes as well as in deal-making.
Registered students will also receive a summary PDF of investment team careers, recruiting advice, key interview questions and topics to expect, etc. after the session.
