Join us in person at London Business School on 19-20 May 2026 for two days of inspiring dialogue, thought-provoking discussions, and invaluable networking opportunities. Organised by the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital (IEPC) at LBS, the symposium offers a unique platform for academics and practitioners to exchange insights, debate academic findings, and discuss current industry topics.

Day one is focused on practitioners, exploring private equity and venture capital trends, while day two is designed for academics interested in current research on private markets. Practitioners are welcome to attend day two by opting in during registration.

The programme will cover key developments in private markets, including the growing role of private capital in education, the rise of Collateralised Fund Obligations (CFOs), and the European venture ecosystem amid a challenging economic environment. It will also explore value creation in private equity, alongside insights on entrepreneurship, venture capital, and the latest research shaping the future of private capital.
