This session will cover the core fundamentals of Technology Due Diligence and ESG Due Diligence, offering practical insights straight from industry leaders.
•Tech and ESG due diligence are key for assessing potential risks and opportunities in a deal environment.
• Students will gain an understanding of AI and technology’s relevance in M&A processes and understanding of how tech DD can help take control of these factors
• Hear about emerging issues within AI and technology in M&A, and why investors are focused on them
• Understand what it’s like being a technology practitioner in M&A, on a day-to-day basis
• Recognise the material environmental, social, and governance factors relevant to private businesses across various sectors.
• Understand the key stages and methodologies involved in conducting ESG due diligence for private investments.
• Discuss the unique challenges (e.g., data availability, standardisation) and opportunities (e.g., value creation, risk mitigation) associated with ESG due diligence in private markets.
