As a follow-up to the oversubscribed evening “Introduction to Search Funds”, this 4-session programme will go into more detail on how to become an entrepreneur through acquisition straight from business school. The course is a condensed version of a typical MBA elective taught at other business schools. It will appeal to anyone interested in building an entrepreneurial career by acquiring a company, those interested in investing in this 30% IRR asset class and those interested in lower/mid-market private equity.

The sessions will be led by LBS alum Simon Webster - the first person to raise a search fund outside the USA and the fifth person ever to do a search fund. As a Search Fund CEO he delivered 10x growth over a 10 year period and has subsequently invested in over 30 search funds.

He will be joined by guest speakers from all stages of the entrepreneurship through acquisition process – from current searchers to search fund CEOs and search fund investors.
