Ms. Eileen Burbidge serves as a Partner at Passion Capital. She currently also serves as a Board Member at Tide (Fintech). She was ranked #11 in the 100 most influential technology investors in Europe by "online social capital" by the Telegraph. She was investment director for private early stage VC firm Ambient Sound Investments, founded by the Skype founding engineers. Prior to that, Eileen was products director for both Yahoo!'s largest global property Yahoo! Answers, and Skype. She currently served as a Board Member at BirdBack. She is a Board Member of Hotspring Ventures. She also serves as Board Member and Advisor at Limejump. She serves on Board of HomeTouch. She started her career as a software engineer in Silicon Valley and worked at many of the world's biggest tech companies, including Apple, Yahoo and Sun Microsystems. In 2004, she decided to work for Skype and moved to London. In 2007 Burbidge began investing and advising start-ups as an angel. In 2009, working with Stefan Glaenzer and Robert Dighero, she co-founded White Bear Yard, a coworking office for tech start-ups in London. Two years later, the same trio started Passion Capital.
