We are excited to announce 2021 edition of Multiple:X, Private Equity and Venture Capital Conference hosted by London Business School for the last 16 years. This year we will welcome 20+ speakers from leading European and global investors to bring their perspective to the community.

Venture Capital sessions will cover the following topics:

2:00-3:00 PM: Keynote presentation by David Teten: Best practices of Private Equity and Venture Capitalist Investors in Increasing Portfolio Company Value

David Teten is the Founder of Versatile Venture Capital. He has advised such institutional investors as Birch Hill Equity Partners, Goldman Sachs Special Situations Group, Icahn Enterprises, LLR Partners, Real Ventures, Right Side Capital, and Orascom TMT Investments.  He is the co-founder of PEVCTech, an online community focused on helping private equity and venture capital funds make better investments through technology. David will discuss how Google Ventures, First Round Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and ff Venture Capital offer operational support and how to cost-effectively build out your platform resources as your firm grows.

3:00-4:00 PM: Digitization of the VC industry

Scalability and technology-enabled businesses go hand in hand, but how is technology being used to evaluate today’s start-up ecosystem? We will discuss how technology is changing the cultural setting of VC organizations and how funds are exploiting these tech-enabled capabilities/initiatives to create value not only for themselves but for their portfolio companies.

Speaker 1: Jonathan Hsu, Co-Founder and General Partner at Tribe Capital
Speaker 2: Jason Goldstein, Co-Founder, and Principal at New Grounds VC
Speaker 3: Carmen Alfonso Rico, Partner at Blossom Capital
Moderator: Gary Dushnitsky, Associate Professor at London Business School

4:00-5:00 PM: SPACs and Innovative Exit Strategies - are they a trend or here to stay? Panel moderated by LBS Professor Eli Talmor

SPACs have revolutionized how companies are listed in open markets but are there other ways to exit that will soon sweep the market? We will take a deeper look at these new exit approaches and how they benefit or harms market dynamics. Is this trend here to stay, or will we soon return to traditional IPOs? Why has this trend not hit Europe, and should we expect it in upcoming years?

Speaker 1: Brad Feld, Managing director at Foundry Group
Speaker 2: Ted Persson, Partner at EQT Ventures

The conference is taking place on May 7th, 14:00-17:00 GMT. Sign up for the full event or individual ones that can be found in the details on this Campus Group Page.

The conference is open to all and completely FREE this years! Spots are limited, so sign up for your ticket now.
