We are welcoming Andrew Jones, CEO of LondonMetric; Mehdi Bourassi, Finance Director of TriTax Eurobox; and Shamik Narotam, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Private Equity to explore what is driving trends in industrial real estate across Europe, how retailers are changing their distribution networks to better serve customers, and what changes we are likely to see in the future with technological advances and environmental pressures at the forefront of investors' minds.

Speaker Bios:
Andrew Jones is the CEO of LondonMetric. He is a chartered surveyor and former Board Member of British Land where he was the Head of Retail. In 2010, he left British Land to cofound Metric Property. In 2013 it merged with London & Stamford to form LondonMetric with Andrew staying on as CEO. Andrew was, until May this year, also a Non-Executive Director of Unite, the student property company. LondonMetric is a distribution focussed, FTSE250 REIT with one of the UK’s leading logistics platforms and a diversified £2.3bn portfolio of assets.
Mehdi Bourassi is a Finance Director at TriTax group and serves on the board of TriTax Eurobox Plc. TriTax is a market-leading investment fund management house focused on acquiring and managing commercial property investments for private equity. As a group, it has acquired and developed circa £2.5bn of property assets involving more than 120 investment vehicles, including two listed REITs: TriTax Big Box Plc and TriTax EuroBox Plc, that focus on very large logistics in the UK and Europe respectively. Before TriTax Mehdi worked at Savills Investment Management and at Sovereign Wealth fund ADIA and holds an MBA from London Busines School.
Shamik Narotam is an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley's real estate private equity division (MSREI) having worked there for the last 12 years. Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing (MSREI) is the global private real estate investment management arm of Morgan Stanley. As at the end of 2018 MSREI had $33bln under management and is one of the worlds largest investors in Real Estate. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Shamik was a structural engineer AKT and graduated from Imperial College. He holds an MBA from London Business School.
