The LBS Sailing Club is proud to announce the 19th edition of its annual regatta in Athens in April 2025!
It will be a fantastic weekend filled with racing amongst the world's best Business Schools, after-sailing events and parties, and lots of networking. We will have three divisions: Division A for advanced sailors, Division B+ for intermediate with some racing experience, and Division B for the elite champagne drinkers. In other words, ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOMED!
The event will take place from the 10th to the 13th of April 2025. As mentioned above, the regatta will host three types of boats for different expertise levels:
Division A:
Boat type: Platu 25
These racing boats will be sailed by those willing to get into a proper race with crews from other business schools. These boats should be taken by experienced crews who have racing experience. Only one Division A boat per business school is allowed at the moment.
Division A tickets will not be directly sold on Campus Groups. If you are interested in Division A, please purchase a B+ or B ticket for now, and reach out to an exco member to register your interest.
Division B+:
Boat Type: Beneteau First 53 racer/cruiser
For those with some racing experience who are looking to enter a competitive division on a cruising style boat, Division B+ is for you. This is a smaller division for sailors looking to level up their racing skills. These boats can host up to 8 people on board. Division B+ crews will sleep on the boat and will share a cabin with a crewmate.
Divison B:
Boat type: Cruising Boats
For those with less (or zero) sailing experience or those who just want to enjoy a few days of sailing in the beautiful Greek sea, Division B boats are the right choice! These boats can host up to 8 people on board. Division B crews will sleep on the boat and will share a cabin with a crewmate.
Boats will be of three types (and tickets must be bought accordingly):
B+ Student Boat - 8 tickets
B+ Alumni Boat - 8 tickets
B Boat (students and alumni) - 8 tickets
Once you register, we will reach out to you for your shirt size. If you do not respond, we will elect Medium.
