2022 Global MBA Trophy Regatta

Sailors and Cruisers Assemble!

London Business School will proudly host the 16th Global MBA Trophy, a sailing race amongst alumni and students from the world’s top business schools in Athens (Greece) with two days of races and networking events from the 7^th to the 10^th of April 2022. Attendees to previous editions included INSEAD, Columbia Business School, Cornell University, Wharton and many others, making the MBA Global Trophy a wonderful opportunity to meet the best Business Students and Alumni from all around the world!

Tickets will be live at 2.00 PM GMT on the 2^nd of December 2021 for the LBS Crew(s) for Division B/Bavaria 46 boats.

Schedule:
7th of April: 10 AM Registration & Welcome Drinks
8th of April: Breakfast, Race Day & Dinner/Party
9th of April: Race day, Awards ceremony & Dinner/Party
10th of April: Check out and goodbyes!

There will also be two practise days (optional) on the 5^th and 6^th of April.

Division B boats (Bavaria 46) are cruising boats that can host up to 8 people on board. Tickets include night accommodation in the boat’s cabins during the days of the event. The price for Division B boats is £495 per person. Please note these are Early Birds tickets, available only until the 31st of January! However we expect to sell out long before then!
 

As of now, only two Division B boats are available for LBS students and alumni. So, hurry up to buy your ticket!

Previous sailing experience is very much welcomed, but it is not at all a prerequisite to participate to the event! We will make sure all boats have enough experienced sailors on board to ensure a smooth sailing for all. In this regard, please note that if you plan to sign up to the event with friends (tickets are per person, but you can buy tickets for the same boat of your friends!), there will still need to be at least one licensed skipper on board; if none of you is, we will make our best to find one for you!

Beside accommodation on board, your ticket also includes:
- Race entry fee and all race organisation costs (setting, racing, protest & redress committees etc.)
- Delightfully cosy overnight accommodation on board the boats (Division B)
- Access to the marina
- Breakfasts on the race days
- Welcome drinks at launch ceremony
- Evening of first day of races dinner & party
- Formal award ceremony at the end of the second day of races, dinner and entertainment

Tickets do NOT include flights or travel insurance. Please note whilst booking that you need to be at the marina/boat by 9 AM on the 7^th of April in order to get out on the water!

Tickets are refundable in case of COVID19- related cancellation or changes to UK travel policy.
