Salty Dogs - Sailing practice and social (for all levels)

⛵ Join us for first Salty Dogs event of the summer at Burnham! 🌊 If you're up for a day of learning, cruising in a fun social day out, we'd love to have you join us. Pro skippers will guide you from the basics to perfecting your sailing techniques. We might even have a cheeky "friendly" race to conclude the sailing day! 🏆

At our previous Salty Dogs event, we enjoyed sea shanties 🎶 and reggaeton while sailing, followed by a local Sunday roast! This time we are going bigger and better. 🎉 Beware we also have a tradition to do the Macarena on the train back to London.

Schedule for the day:

⏰ 9:30am - Arrive at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club in Burnham. Burnham on Crouch is one hour train from Liverpool Street station

⛵ 10am to 3pm - sailing practice with pro skippers (please bring snacks / sandwiches for lunch)

🍻 3pm to 4pm - drinks at the club

🍽️ 4pm to 5:30pm - dinner at Oyster Smack Inn (optional)

🚂 6pm - train back to London

Important: please wear sports/gym clothes with layers of fleece and waterproof jacket. Club will provide life vest and optional waterproof layer if needed. Knee pads and gloves are optional but recommended. Also carry water, sandwiches and snacks for the duration of sailing.
