The discount code retroactively applies discounts to your booking. So the more peoples that go to the LBS Yacht week, the bigger the discount!!!!
Additionally, you must book the whole boat at a time. This means 8 people need to commit to getting a boat together before you book. That will allow us to have the cheapest prices possible (as low as 575 GBP per person before the discount code). Yacht Week is offering early bird pricing through March 7th!

FAQs:
Q: Do I need to know how to sail to join yacht week?
A: Absolutely not! This is open to all levels of experience
Q: Do I need to know how to swim?
A: We recommend being able to tread water for about 3-5 minutes and being able to swim 10 meters in salt water. This is a safety recommendation, and LBS has lots of wonderful resources to help you reach this level of swimming before Yacht Week if needed.
Q: How does the discount code work?
A: It is retroactive, so once 3 yachts sign up, everyone gets 3% off. As additional yachts sign up, everyone gets another % off up to 10%
Q: How do I form a yacht crew?
A: You need to get a group of 8 people together. If you don't have a full group, you can check out our matching spreadsheet linked above.
Q: How do I pay for the yacht?
A: Yacht Week offers payment plans. You can either pay up front in full, or you can pay an initial 10% deposit with subsequent payments a few weeks later. You can add your crewmates to the Yacht Week booking so that they can each pay their share or you can coordinate one payer in your crew and do bank transfers ahead of time.
Q: Why are we using the Yacht Week Website?
A: The discount code was going to be easiest through their website and allow for the quickest reimbursements if needed. Additionally, booking directly with them helps us save on booking fees.
Q: Do I need air conditioning?
A: It is typically nice and cool out on the water, and this trip is early season. As an experienced sailor, I never use it when I am on sailing trips. That said, if you tend to run very warm or have trouble sleeping, it can be nice at night.
Q: Do I need a hostess?
A: The hostess will help grocery shop and cook meals. Every boat is equipped with a kitchen, so you can easily do this yourself. The hostess is more a matter of how relaxed and hands off you want the trip to be.
