⛵ ⚓ 🍻EASTER SUNDAY SALTY DOG ⛵️ 🐳 🍻

Salty Dog is a fun day-sailing event for those with no sailing experience, for those who already have some experience and want to learn more as well as for those very experienced sailors! We will be joined by our LBS Sailing Club Alumni, which is not only fun but also a great networking opportunity.

⛵️ 🐳 🍻 Plan for Saturday 31st of March:
We will depart together from Baker Street Station in the morning by train. At the Yacht Club we will have breakfast, get to know the boats and prepare for a fun day on the water. The boats are HUNTER 707s which fit up to five people and will be skippered either by one of our ExCo Members and/or professional skipper. After a fun first session and getting familiar with the boats, we will have lunch together and might go for some fun races against each other in the afternoon! After a fun and exciting day on the water, we will enjoy some well deserved pints and cocktails in the Yacht Club before we make our way back to London.

🤷‍♀️ 🤷 🤷‍♂️ What to bring:
The club will provide water-proof sailing wear for all participants and their daily rentals will be included in the price. Since the UK is not the Caribbean, you should be prepared and dressed appropriately. Please bring waterproof/rain jacket and trousers, rubber boots (if possible) and a pair of extra socks & trousers as a back-up. Layers are key in colder months, and try to avoid cotton and jeans at all costs (it takes a long time dry if it gets wet). And of course lots of energy, smiles and good vibes!

💷 💷 Costs:
Payments will be collected once the crews are finalised. We expect the cost for general tickets to be around 40GBP. 
Experienced sailors who can helm boats will be offered discounts as they will be saving the crew from cost of hiring a local helmsman. 

Once you register your name, you will be expected to attend and to pay for your ticket. Individual ticket prices will be capped at 60GBP for your planning. The final cost of the trip will be based on the number of boats we hire and the number of experienced skippers/helms we have in the crew.
