Algarve is this year’s Europe's Leading Beach Destination (an award that has been received on multiple occasions). Much more than golden beaches and azure waters, it is a nuanced destination packed with history, culture, and an infectious lust for life.
With about 200 kilometres of coastline, great weather, and calm waters, the Algarve is ideal for sailing and exploring the beauty of the coastline.
Golden cliffs where erosion has carved out caves and exuberant shapes, red cliffs, and the dunes of white sand that frame wide beaches, there’s a great variety of scenery. The choppy seas to the west, near Sagres, become warmer (average of 20º in summer) and calm as you head east, making this a more relaxing adventure.
At sea, land, beach, day, night, on a boat, at a bar, on a desert beach…anywhere in Algarve, as long as the Ocean Week is running, you will have assured fun! If you are a competition lover you have a lot of physical challenges and plenty of adventure. But if you prefer to relax during a YOGA Class in unimagined spots you are ok too. By the way, Party lovers: there are themed parties assured!!
The boats we will be using are 40 to 52 feet mono hulls and 40 to 42 feet Catamarans.
