Silicon Valley & New York City Tech Treks - Info Session & Application

The LBS Tech & Media club is thrilled to announce that Silicon Valley Trek & New York City Trek applications are now open. We will hold an information session on Monday January 26th at 11:15am in LT9. Please RSVP to the info session here: 

 

Application Process:

Now is your opportunity to officially apply to the Silicon Valley & New York City treks. You can apply to attend either one of the treks, or both. The Silicon Valley trek is from the 23rd - 28th of March, 2015 and the New York City Trek is from the 30th of March - 3rd of April, 2015. Please see more details about each trek below. 

Please follow the link below to fill in the application. Application deadline in January 30th by 5pm. We expect both treks to be well subscribed so don’t miss out on your opportunity to apply!

We will review the applications and select approximately 25 students to join each trek. Please note: applications will be reviewed separately for each trek. You will be notified of the decision in the first week of February.  

 

Please remember, the Tech & Media Club is also organizing a Tel Aviv trek from the 23rd - 26th of March, which will have a separate application.

Trek Details:

The Silicon Valley trek is taking place from the 23rd to the 27th/28th March 2015. We have confirmed visits to Google, LinkedIn, Box, Synack; TBC at Facebook, Intel Capital, Kleiner Perkins and a few startups.  

 

The New York City trek is taking place from the 30th of March - 3rd of April, 2015. We will visit the following companies in NYC: Venmo, Spotify, FourSquare, Warby Parker, Rent the Runway (tbc), Youtube (tbc) and many more! There will also be lots of time for fun and great food in NYC.

 

Each trek will cost between GBP 100 and 200 (excluding flights).
