The Volunteer Club is currently working with Young Enterprise, Career Academies UK, Access Project UK, Enabling Enterprise, Hackney pirates and other organisations to provide CV and Cover Letter review sessions, business skill classes (including interview skills and preparation sessions), and entrepreneurship mentoring. Ghana Trek: The Ghana Trek is an opportunity for LBS students to use their skills to make a positive, real impact in rural communities in Ghana, arguably the most promising growth nation in sub-Saharan Africa. With our primary focus on microfinance, Trek members will have the chance to talk and interact with local community members who manage the rural savings and credit cooperatives we will be working with, as well as gain in-depth knowledge about the challenges of working in the context of the developing world. The result will be our delivering real change recommendations for our partner's microfinance operations in the region.Community Action Group: As a student volunteer group, we work closely with the faculty and staff of LBS through the Community Action Group (CAG). Together, we have successfully run Campus wide toy drives, clothing drives and volunteer days to help the local community. Other Events: We are always looking for more ways to help out! Please feel free to contact us for more information or with your volunteering ideas.
