David Cicurel is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Judges Scientific plc, a company he established in 2002. Before founding Judges Scientific, Cicurel had a career as a turnaround specialist, working on corporate recovery projects in France, Switzerland, and the United States. In the last 30 years, he has been based in the UK, focusing on acquiring and managing scientific instrument businesses. Under his leadership, Judges Scientific has grown through a series of acquisitions, building a diverse portfolio of companies in the scientific instruments sector.


Matthias Riechert is the founder and Managing Director of P&R Investment Management Limited, an investment advisory firm he established in 2012. Before founding P&R, he spent over a decade in sales and trading at Citigroup Global Markets. Riechert holds an MBA from both London Business School and Columbia Business School, where he specialised in value investing. In addition to his role at P&R, he serves as Chairman of Software Circle PLC a serial acquirer in vertical market software.
