First things first... GOLF LESSONS (3rd Edition)!
We had a great start to the season with full house last week. Join us for the second group lessons this friday! They are held every Friday at 5pm and 6pm for an hour and are open to all levels.
Not interested in lessons? Come practice/play the 9 hole golf course next door in the meantime and join us later for drinks at the bar!
As a reminder, here are the details:
What: Group lesson with a PGA pro teacher for 5 participants (All levels welcome). Golf balls are included and golf clubs can be provided too!
Price: GBP15 per person.
Where: Playgolf London (http://playgolf-london.com/). 40 Mins from LBS campus (15min walk from Northwick Park tube on the Metropolitan line).

LBS student membership at Stanmore Golf Club
We are very happy to announce that we have again been able to secure our fantastic deal with Stanmore Golf Club. Current LBS students are eligible for a full-year membership for only £300 (savings of more than 75%). Members can also rent a locker for their golf set. Stanmore is a 15-20 minute walk from Canons Park station on the Jubilee line (or you can take a cab from either station – Canons Park or Stanmore – if you prefer).
It is probably best to warn you that we do not necessarily plan to organise our events there so it would really be of use for your personal time. If you are interested, please contact Stanmore Golf directly (020 8954 2599 http://www.stanmoregolfclub.co.uk/). Any questions - don't hesitate to ask!
Golf News
We would like to keep you updated with what happens on the major golf tours. The goal is to let you familiarize yourself with the best golfers on the professional tours and appreciate their performances. Track their scores as we will introduce the LBS Fantasy Race to Dubai in December! We want you ready! (check it out: here)
- European Tour – The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship
Tyrrell Hatton carded a flawless final round 66 to finish three shots ahead of fellow countryman Ross Fisher at the Old Course, St Andrews, to claim 676,132 points and take himself from 33rd to 11th place in the rankings. Runner-up Fisher also wrote his name in to the history books on the final day as he broke the Old Course record with a blistering round of 11 under par 61.

Steele won the PGA TOUR's season-opening Safeway Open for the second straight year, closing with a 3-under 69 in windy conditions Sunday for a two-stroke victory over Tony Finau. Phil Mickelson and Chesson Hadley finished three shots behind.
