The Company
Tracey Neuls shoes is a footwear design company focused on creating innovative shoes for women. Tracey is an award winning designer who has been in the footwear business for over 10 years. The company has build up a loyal following of both retail shops and customers around the world. The company currently produces two lines of women’s shoes - “Tracey Neuls” and “TN29”. The company is based in London UK, manufactures shoes in Italy and Spain and supplies shoes to shops in over 20 countries. Tracey Neuls also has a retail shop in Marylebone, London.

The Role
Tracey Neuls is looking to expand both the wholesale and retail sides of the business. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing the current retail and wholesale business and developing both the retail and wholesale businesses. The role will also look at ways to harness the existing Tracey Neuls brand and increase exposure and PR to drive both wholesale and retail sales.

Key activities will include (but not limited) to the following:

·      Deepen the relationship with existing shops and manage the relationship through the whole cycle (pre tradeshow, order, delivery, follow up)
·      Set up and manage seasonal sales meetings and tradeshow meetings
·      Set and report against wholesale business goals and targets
·      Continually monitor key markets and competitors and report on key insights and learnings
·      Managing sales agents
·      Develop possible new product and sales strategies to grow the wholesale business
·      Manage growth of business ensuring effective systems and staff are in place to expand successfully.
·      Manage all logistics for the London retail shop 
·      Manage stock and sales to maximise margins
·      Develop a retail expansion plan with 2 – 3 options for expansion
·      Indentify and implement ways to use the Tracey Neuls brand to increases wholesale and retail sales.
·      Develop a strategy and an implementation plan to leverage collaborations
·      Develop a strategy and an implementation plan product for key product placements and endorsements
 
The Person
The candidate will have extensive experience in the fashion or accessories business with a solid understanding of both the wholesale and retail sides of business. Wholesale sales and customer relationship management experience is essential. This role will require the ability to think strategically based both analytical analysis and an understanding of the market. The candidate must be able to both develop and execute on detailed implementation plans. Self motivation and drive is essential, along with the ability to take on a wide range of tasks and see them through to completion. Experience in the shoe industry would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Location and Remuneration
This position will be based at Tracey Neuls shop / office in Marylebone, London. Some travel will be required and compensation and benefits will be discussed on an individual basis with candidates.
