The Retail & Luxury Goods Club are proud to announce an event with Tesco at their Wembley Extra store on Friday 25 February 2011 from 9am to 1pm. Tesco will speak about the work two of their internal consulting teams do, Operations Development and Dotcom Operations Development (the online grocery shopping team), and show how this impacts a typical store. The morning will help increase awareness of what it's like to work at Tesco and hear about potential job opportunities. This event is limited to 24 students.

Tesco plc is a global grocery and general merchandising retailer headquartered in Cheshunt, United Kingdom. It is the second-largest retailer in the world measured by profits (after Wal-Mart). It has stores in 14 countries across Asia, Europe and North America and is the grocery market leader in the UK (where it has a market share of around 30%), Malaysia and Thailand. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is in the FTSE 100.
