The Retail & Luxury Goods Club invites students from all LBS programmes to apply to join our Executive Committee.

Joining the Executive Committee is a great opportunity to network within the retail and luxury sectors and demonstrate your leadership skills to yourself, your peers and your prospective employers. Responsibiilties include planning speaker events and site visits, and leading new initiatives for the Club. We are also looking for a diligent Treasurer.

Experience in retail and/or luxury is helpful but not necessary.

Please bear in mind that we define the sector broadly. In addition to luxury and fashion, think ecommerce, real estate development, private equity, high street and mass retailers, department stores, wines & spirits, leisure, travel and services, etc.

The application is due via email (no attachments, please) to both plewin.mba2012@london.edu and tvanhegan.mba2012@london.edu by midnight, 15 October, and includes responses to the two questions below. Successful applicants will be contacted by email for an interview the following week.

We do not have a target number of committee members.

The questions
In no more than 250 words each:
1) Describe your experience with and interest in retail and/or luxury.
2) What is your dream event, why, and how will you arrange it?
