Job Description: Marketing Manager - International Access Platforms & Sponsorship (job reference #1108625) 

This role is focused on delivering lifestyle and entertainment events and benefits to American Express Cardmembers, primarily focused on the super-premium Platinum & Centurion cards.  Demonstrated interest in luxury goods, lifestyle, events and partnerships is critical for the role.  The role is suitable for a recent MBA graduate.  Band 35 is the level for which American Express recruits MBA graduates. 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the fast-paced International Premium Lifestyle Marketing team. The team is dedicated to building world-class International Lifestyle benefit platforms for Card members across markets. This role focuses on the Entertainment Access benefits, with a specific focus on the core Card member passion areas of Music, Art & Culture, Film and Sport.  Access benefits are core to delivering on the American Express Premium Value philosophy, driving the acquisition and retention of High Value Card members. The successful candidate will work with central teams, local markets, external partners and agencies to provide critical support in delivering robust communications platforms (including digital), driving cross-market promotion of Access assets and flawless execution of premium Access events and partnerships. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the marketing of the American Express Access platform/assets in Music, Film, Sport, Art & Culture based on customer segment needs and the competitive environment.
• Working closely with American Express’s International Premium products team to ensure full integration of Access in the product value proposition and premium communications
• Driving optimal Access communications platform in partnership with local markets.
• Working closely with American Express market teams to share frameworks, global learnings and best practices across the Access categories. 

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and work effectively with colleagues across the “Blue Box” in a matrixed international organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong communications experience – experience in both Above The Line and Below The Line communications is desirable
• External partner and agency management experience including the ability to confidently negotiate with/ influence partners
• Expertise in digital marketing with demonstrable results
• Proven project and relationship management skills
• Solid analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail, proven ability to multi-task and drive results
• Ability to work successfully in a central role with flexibility to work across multiple time zones when required
• A team player who delights in being part of and contributing to a dynamic team
• Entertainment/Arts segment experience a plus, passion for Entertainment/ Arts a must
