Walpole Brands of Tomorrow Programme 2012

Applications are now being Accepted

Applications are now being accepted for the 2012 Walpole Brands of Tomorrow mentoring programme, in association with Mishcon de Reya.

Launched in 2007, the bespoke mentorship and coaching programme has become phenomenally successful, helping aspiring British luxury brands of the future to fulfil their potential and become global leaders in their field.  The programme takes selected companies through a cycle of quarterly educational workshops on areas such as business planning, marketing, distribution and internationalisation and one-to-one mentorship meetings with some of the UK’s most experienced luxury entrepreneurs. 

Mentors include John Ayton (programme chair), Lucia van der Post, Sarah Elton, Former MD Smythson; Martin Bartle, Founder Arthur Ridley Esq; Jonathan Heilbron, CEO, Thomas Pink; and many more. All give their time to mentor the successful candidates in every aspect of running a luxury brand, from branding and marketing to IP protection and distribution and team management. 

Previous Brands of Tomorrow include; Shaun Leane, The Real Flower Company, Astley Clark, Miller Harris, Bremont Watch Company, Rococo Chocolates, Charlotte Olympia, Wolf & Badger, Josephine Home, Emmett London and Osman Yousefzada.

In order to be eligible for this programme, selected companies need to exemplify the highest standards of quality, style and craftsmanship and aspire to develop into full Walpole members.

Applications close on the 27th February. Successful candidates will be chosen to present to the panel of judges and mentors during the second round of judging in March; you will be notified in early March.

Applications may be supplemented with some examples of work for the judges to look at in the first round of judging. If you wish to send press coverage please ensure you send copies as we are unable to return any press books submitted. If you wish to send samples, we will endevour to return these to you once the judging has ended.
