Yoga Practice!

As part of LBS Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 (MHAW), the Wellbeing Club has initiated “MOVE” for Mental Health so we can all get moving and grooving in our own way.

MHAW is designed to raise awareness, initiate discussion and importantly to destigmatize mental health issues. The benefits of movement on mental health are well documented and include reducing anxiety and stress and boosting mood and self-esteem (see: Harvard Health article https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/how-simply-moving-benefits-your-mental-health-201603289350). Having often been stuck indoors over the last 12 months and limited in our movements to one daily exercise (thanks Bo-Jo!), the sun is out (sometimes) and it’s time to get our bodies moving and feel goooooood!

So, we’d love you to join us for YOGA practice on the LAWN as Sussex Place Campus. The session will be accessible to different levels from beginner to intermediate, so come along, bring a mat (or towel) and flow with us!

*Please note, places are limited due to covid rules so please make sure you come along if you sign-up!*

As part of Move for Mental Health, we’ll be raising funds for our charity partner, Rethink: https://www.rethink.org/. Rethink do amazing work focussed around providing mental health advice and online resources.
