LBS Wine & Cheese Club is reaching out to you today to invite you to an event out of the ordinary.

English sparkling wine is growing amazingly famous. Hambleton Vineyard, the oldest vineyard in England and indeed the birthplace of cricket, will be hosting a blind tasting of their sparkling wine alongside some world renowned champagnes. Alongside Hambledon owner Ian Kellett and leading the tastings will be wine expert and BBC food and drink programme co-presenter Joe Wadsack. It is a real coup to get Joe to join us.

As a producer of premium quality sparkling wine, Hambledon has 50 acres planted with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. With its strong association with esteemed Champagne house Pol Roger dating back to 1952, its unique state of the art winery and celebrated Champagne 'chef de cave' Hervé Jestin, Hambledon is now building on its early successes and the huge growth in popularity of English fizz.

Alongside Hambledon will be CrowdBnk, the leading investment crowd funding platform, who are supporting Hambledon Vineyard in their current fundraising. Hambledon are offering investors a secured convertible 8% cash coupon with wine rewards. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste some great wines and an early chance to make a small investment to own a piece of a vineyard.

We hope to see a lot of you at the event!
