Passion for good food, respect for tradition and the excitement of taking on a new challenge are the ingredients of is a start-up founded in 2014 by Italo MajoneSoraya SimónRoger Simón and Marta Ventura and inspired by London Business School.

After almost 20 years in the financial industry, Italo decided to quit his job, take a sabbatical and join the LBS Sloan MSc in Leadership and Strategy in 2013. When he finished the programme, he teamed up with some members of his family to create a new venture aimed at becoming in 3 to 5 years the number 1 online retailer of Spanish food in the UK.

Soraya is in charge of Social Media and Website Management while Roger, who’s based in Barcelona, is responsible for the procurement and the logistics. Although Marta is not involved in the daily business, her great experience in the food retail business is extremely helpful. She runs a delicatessen store in Barcelona and actively cooperates with the Municipality of Barcelona to organise seminars aimed at improving the resilience of the Food Markets business. wants to provide their customers with a broad variety of authentic Spanish fine groceries, from 100% Iberico Ham to the best fish Galician preserves, from real artisan Cheese to premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil and much more. But They also want to help small and medium Spanish food artisans to make their wonderful products known abroad, starting from the UK. They have established close relationships with them and personally select all the products. In addition to the sale of fine foods, they aim at spreading gastronomic culture and culinary knowledge.
