The Leadership & People Club is pleased to welcome Toshihiro Yoshimura, Founder and CEO of WASO, for a conversation on building and scaling a Japanese food e-commerce business in the UK.

After leaving a career in finance in Tokyo, Yoshimura launched WASO in London in 2015. He later navigated severe financial pressure, pivoted the business to home delivery just before the COVID-19 lockdown and expanded its service across the UK.

The session will include a presentation, a fireside chat and audience Q&A, covering his entrepreneurial journey and the leadership and people challenges involved in growing the business.
