Event Registration

Upon paying the membership fee, a student's profile is "tagged" on Campus Groups and the student is then able to register for official Finance Club events. Please contact financeclub@london.edu if you would like to join the Finance Club; again, only paid members will be allowed to register and attend events. If some events indicate "Officers Only" that means the registration for those events has not opened yet

Wait List
When an event has reached capacity, a wait list is open via Campus Groups.  The wait list only serves to fill an event if a registered attendee cancels.  24 hours before an event's start time, all registration is closed.  At this point, if you are on the wait list you will not be able to attend the event.  As such, if you are on the wait list please do not show up at the event as you will not be granted access.

Cancellation
If a paying Finance Club member registers for an event and does not attend (and does not cancel 24 hours in advance via Campus Groups), their membership will be de-activated for a specified period of time.
A first missed event results in a one-week deactivation; a second missed event results in a three-week deactivation. If a members registers and does not attend a third event, membership will be revoked for the remainder of the school year.

Proper Conduct
Please check an event's dress code before arriving.  Registered students may be denied access at the door if the dress code is not followed.  For example, the dress code for the weekly bank events on Monday evenings is business formal, consisting of a suit and tie for men and a suit for women. Proper dress is at the discretion of the door attendee.
Please do not leave an event until the entire presentation is over, including the Q&A session.  Doing so reflects poorly on the LBS community - if you are not able to stay for the allotted time period, please do not register.  Additionally, late-comers will be denied access.  

Networking Session
Certain events will allow for a post-presentation networking session.  Only members who have registered and attended the event will be allowed access to the networking session.
